We are looking for volunteers to prepare and deliver CPD training in Paediatric Optometry and Case Management to Optometrists and Ophthalmologists in Ethiopia.

Train of Trainers Course Delivery
We are looking for volunteers to prepare and deliver a Train of Trainers course in Low Vision to eye health professionals in Zambia.

Glaucoma Detection Training and Vision Centre Business Management Training
This role includes course material development, remote training, face-to-face delivery over 3 - 4 weeks (Sierra Leone) and remote mentoring.

Fundraising is a great way for volunteers to support VAO. Many will organise their own fundraising events, from sponsored walks and fun runs to virtual quiz nights and even sky-dives! To find out more about fundraising please click here.
Volunteers who work in practices or stores can become VAO champions. As a champion you bring VAO's mission to your place of work.
You could for example: have awareness raising days in store, hold bake sales and organise regular donation collections when making free glasses repairs for customers.
